Rebecca Romijn (born in New York City) is an American actor and model best known as the actress of Mystique The main character in the initial of three parts of X-Men. Romijn was a part of the Marvel superhero 'The Punisher in which she played 'Joan. Romijn began her modeling career as a professional model, and was employed by companies like Christian Dior Sports Illustrated Victoria's Secret. She spent a decade modeling for big fashion houses but then resigned from that area of work to focus on her acting profession. Romijn is most well-known for her television career in comparison to Hollywood. She portrayed 'Alexis Mead' in the comedy-drama 'Ugly Betty' and later was the character "Jessie Nichols" in 'NTSF:SD The SUV'. Her other roles include 'King & Maxwell' and The Librarians'.
