Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Born on 2 December 1981, in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model who is well-known for her appearances on film and TV series. Brandt started out her acting in her role in the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. Following that she got her first American performance as Naevia in Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia. The actress has appeared on a lot of television shows during the last decade including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. In 2016 Brandt is playing the role of Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer starring Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town in South Africa. She moved to Auckland with her family when she reached her twenties. Her professional career began when she was model for print ads and commercial advertisements. Prior to becoming an infamous model, Brandt worked as a retail salesperson and as a consultant in recruitment for the information technology industry. In 2009 she was offered her first role in Leilani as Leilani in the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. In 2021, she appeared on Spartacus Blood and Sand as the young slave girl Naevia. The actress has also reprised her character of Naevia for the prequel miniseries Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker starred alongside her in three television shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, Mazikeen was cast as the bounty hunter on Netflix's cult show Lucifer. She has played her most important role up to now. This show has her co-starring along with Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
