Mrs. Rivas possesses over thirteen years of experience as a certified clinical social worker that is bilingual and multicultural. She has worked with a variety of populations, including LGBTQ+ and those with problems with addiction to drugs. Since 2019 Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. Presently, telehealth mental health services are offered. Ms. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal Team that assists pregnant and post-partum women. She provides trauma-informed therapy for adults. She is also a specialist in trauma-related care. She can provide individual or group therapy, as well as the medication-assisted treatment program. The referral for specialized care are also provided. Amanda assists in finding forever animal homes by being volunteer with the Best Friends Animal Society Volunteer. She is dedicated in The Best Friends slogan "Save Them" and has been working to make Los Angeles into an animal-free city.
